Here’s Our First Look At Monopoly’s Back to the Future Trilogy Edition

Great Scott: there are hours (and hours … and hours) of Back to the Future Monopoly in your future!

Now, we have a far clearer idea of what those hours are going to look like. Game maker USAopoly has released images of their new, Marty McFly-inspired Monopoly incarnation, box, board, game pieces and all. Universal partnered with Hasbro to create the board game as part of a promotional push leading up to the original Back to the Future’s 30th anniversary, as per Mental Floss.

The game’s box resembles a case of something with a little more kick: plutonium! Fortunately, you won’t need to steal yours from a group of Libyan nationalists in exchange for a fake bomb made from old pinball machine parts.

The game board retains some classic Monopoly features—missing a golden opportunity to somehow incorporate this into the “Go to Jail” space—and includes spaces that send players backward and forward in time.

And as you can see below, the game pieces include Einstein the dog, the DeLorean, Marty’s trusty hoverboard, Part III’s cowboy hat, the Hill Valley courthouse clock and Nike’s self-strapping sneakers, among others:

And here’s the game’s official description:

This fully licensed Back to the Future Monopoly board game provides hours of fun as you collect locations and time-hop through the world of the BTTF trilogy! The game board features all-new properties taken straight from the films, including Café ’80s and Doc’s Mansion, plus you get new “Chance” and Community Chest” cards, and new die-cast metal game pieces of the time machine, Einstein the dog, the cowboy hat, the futuristic sneaker, the hoverboard and the famous Hill Valley clock! Game comes packaged in a full-color box resembling a case of plutonium.
