After a series of standout performances from The Veronicas, and North of Nine, earlier this month we met up with the fourth artist on the Live at Aloft Hotels 2015 Tour. A runner-up on NBC’s The Voice, Michelle Chamuel has spent her time off the air celebrating the release of her latest album Face the Fire and playing a series of more intimate live shows on the Live at Aloft Hotels 2015 Tour. Chamuel is one of those people who makes you feel like her best friend within about five seconds of being in the same room, so it was a pleasure to catch up with her at Aloft Denver Downtown with the Paste cameras in tow. We took a walk around a nearby park and heard about how she grew up loving music and sound.
Later that night at the hotel, groups of fans had come in from all over the country to see the evening set at the W XYZ® Bar. Chamuel performed several songs from Face the Fire, pausing to engage with the crowd and talk about the songs as she went along.
