Watch the First Trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Hateful Eight

The Hateful Eight trailer is here, featuring Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Channing Tatum, and the music of Ennico Morricone. Quentin Tarantino’s latest film has not come into existence without its bumps and bruises, but the movie is definitely happening, and the video above looks pretty damn good. The “snowy western” genre isn’t an expansive one (the excellent Altman film McCabe and Mrs. Miller is the first thing that comes to mind), but we’re excited to see what QT brings to the table.

The Hateful Eight opens on Christmas day.
