At The Drive In Announces Full 2016 Tour

Music News

Following the news that they’ll be playing at festivals such as Shaky Knees and Rock on the Range, Texas post-hardcore titans At The Drive In have announced an extensive 2016 tour of Europe and North America. They’re back together for the first time since a few one-off festival dates in 2012.

The band is also teasing new music on the home page of their website, which would be their first new material since their landmark 2000 LP Relationship and Command. At The Drive In broke up following that album’s release, with Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez spending most of the next decade playing as The Mars Volta and Jim Ward, Paul Hinojos, and Tony Hajjar forming Sparta. Neither of those bands has released new music in a few years, though, which means that maybe At The Drive In is reunited for more than just a quick fling. See below for the details of their upcoming world tour.
