That Little House on the Prairie movie about wholesome early America is back on, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

After Sony halted production of the film back in June due to concerns about its proposed $45 million budget, Paramount Pictures has since picked up the project. Abi Morgan’s (The Iron Lady, Shame) script for the movie will be directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene).

The story of our favorite frontier family in 1880s Minnesota originally ran on NBC between 1974 and 1983, airing a total of 203 episodes. The iconic series starred Melissa Gilbert as Laura Wilder and Michael Landon as Charles Ingalls, a farmer, mill worker and head of the Wilder clan.

Little House on the Prairie was based on the Laura Ingalls Wilder eight part book series of the same name that chronicled Ingalls’ childhood experiences growing up in the Midwest during the 1870s and 1880s.
