The service composited this information via data collected over the past year based on neighborhoods with the most growth on Airbnb. Apparently, Airbnb users are more “intrepid” when selecting neighborhoods to visit. For the entirety of their visit, if they choose the right neighborhood they can live like a local rather than a tourist.
