J.J. Abrams God Particle Casts David Oyelowo, Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Selma and Captive star David Oyelowo, as well as Concussion and Free State of Jones actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw are currently in talks to star in the sci-fi thriller directed by Julius Onah. Abrams will produce through Bad Robot.
The film, which has been in development hell for quite some time, centers on a group of astronauts in the near future who end up fighting for their lives after they uncover a terrifying secret about the fabric of reality.
No details have been released about either of the roles according to Variety, but production will begin on the film soon. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on Feb. 24, 2017.
