Willem Dafoe Joins Justice League Cast

As any good franchise (Harry Potter, The Hobbit) knows, splitting a movie into two parts is a great way to drive fan interest and create a cash-cow. Over the next couple of years, Warner Bros. will be releasing multiple Justice League films, with the first part slated for Nov. 17, 2017 and the second June 14, 2019.

Today, it was announced that Willem Dafoe, who previously played the Marvel villain Green Goblin in the first Tobey Maguire Spiderman, will be playing a good guy in DC’s Justice League. Dafoe will appear in both films, though the Hollywood Reporter, which broke the news, says his exact role has not been disclosed as of this time.
