Glass Animals performed the two singles from their new album How To Be A Human Being on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night.
Standing on four platforms atop a stage with psychedelic moving lights playing from video screens, the British psych-pop band played to a packed, enthusiastic crowd. Still riding high on the successful release of their newest album, the band is using the momentum to continue working on new music and new projects as a band.
In an interview with Paste earlier this month, frontman Dave Bayley said:
[The new album] is definitely different. It’s a diverse record compared to the first one. Overall, I think the first record was quite shy. It’s ambient, quiet, and it was made at night in a bedroom. With this one, we’re more comfortable with what we’re doing, more comfortable with pushing things further.
That comfortability and confidence definitely shows itself in their live performance as well—the boys all seemed to be quite at home on stage on Kimmel last night. That confidence translates itself right back into the music to make for a great performance.
