5 Easy Cocktails to Make This Weekend

Weekends are made for cocktails. However, when you’re the one whipping them up at home, the easier they are to make the faster you can continue to drink.

While fast drinks often mean somewhat mediocre ones, easy-to-mix cocktails don’t have to be boring concoctions. Check out these awesome summer sips that only take a few ingredients to make, but are bound to impress.

Classic Daiquiri

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva Rum
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup

Preparation: Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.


Organic Berry Sparkler

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Gin
4.5 oz. Organic Elderflower Lemonade
Sprig of Mint
Cubed Ice
Mixed red, and blueberries

Preparation: Pour 1 shot of gin into a tall glass. Add a pinch of mint, fill the glass with ice cubes and top with the Elderflower Lemonade. Give them a quick mix with a bar spoon and garnish it with a couple of berries on a nice cocktail stick. DONE.


Target Summerside Spritz

Ingredients:
3 oz. Wine Cube Pink Moscato
½ oz. fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
3 oz. Simply Balanced Cucumber Mint Sparkling Water
Slice of cucumber

Preparation: Build Moscato and grapefruit juice in a collins glass. Top with Simply Balanced Cucumber Mint Sparkling Water. Garnish with a lengthwise slice of cucumber inside the glass.


Spicy Paloma

Ingredients:
1 ½ parts Hornitos Black Barrel Tequila
¾ part fresh ruby red grapefruit juice
¾ part fresh lime juice
½ part agave syrup
Jalapeño
Grapefruit

Preparation: Lightly muddle ¼ grapefruit and 4 slices jalapeño in a shaker. Combine remainder of ingredients into the shaker over ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.


First Bloom
1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge

Ingredients:
2 oz. Tito’s Vodka
0.75 oz. Lemon Juice
0.75 oz. Lavender Mint Syrup
0.5 oz. St Germain

Directions: Combine vodka, St. Germain, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a house-made lavender-thyme simple syrup. Top off with a bloom of your choice.
