Novelist Thomas Pynchon is set to release a new novel, according to tweets from Ron Charles, the fiction editor at The Washington Post. The announcement was also reported by The New York Times, which cited a confirmation from Pynchon’s long-time publisher, Penguin Press. There are few details besides the book title, The Bleeding Edge, and there’s no current date for publication. Lena Dunham's 66-Page Book Proposal Briefly Leaks
In early October, Lena Dunham’s proposed book of essays netted the actress/writer/director $3.7 million from Random House. The illustrated 66-page proposal has hit the web and now we can all see exactly what sparked such an intense bidding war. In it, Dunham features snapshots into her life, including a reproduced diary she kept of everything she ate in a specific month, travel anecdotes, lessons learned from therapy and more.
