XCOM: Enemy Unknown Release Date Announced
XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the latest strategy/roleplaying game from Firaxis Games and 2K Games, finally has a release date. The title will come to North America on Oct. 9 of this year, followed by an Oct. 12 date for Europe and Australia.... read more
Wizards of the Coast to Re-Release Original Dungeons & Dragons Books
Break out the multi-sided dice and grid mats. Last week, Wizards of the Coast released a limited edition run of Gary Gygax original Dungeons & Dragons core books, the Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide and Monster Manual. The reissue is page-for-page the same as the 1974 edition, but now sports a new cover.... read more

Crytek’s latest Crysis 3 demo is what we’d call choose your own adventure. The video, posted earlier on YouTube, allows players to decide what actions the game’s protagonist, Prophet, takes. Deadpool Game to Be Written By Comic Series Author, Daniel Way
What seems logical to most rarely happens in the entertainment industry: giving superhero projects to superhero writers. High Moon Studios has decided to snap the trend and enlist Daniel Way, the current author of the Deadpool comic series, to help create a game based on the humorous-yet-deadly assassin.
