Michel Gondry launching a website
When he's not making features, Michel Gondry keeps busy with little things. A music video here, a rubix cube puzzle there, at the very least he keeps people guessing about his next project. But it looks like right now that project is designing his new website and, from the look of it so far, he's making it just as idiosyncratic as his movies.... read more
Hollywood signs on for Warren Ellis' Red and Ocean
Warren Ellis is a weird dude. Upon reading his blog, one could momentarily lose themselves and wonder if the words are those of the famed Kurt Vonnegut personality Kilgore Trout. Ellis puts forth fantastical science fiction that is regarded somewhere between brilliance and lunacy, depending on your perspective, historical context and general sentiment toward opium dens on Mars. ... read more

Weeds spin-off in the works
Let's keep this business-like: Yes, the Weeds Season 4 premiere involved our dear dealer Nancy (Marie-Louise Parker) and the Botwin family fleeing to Bubbie-in-law's house. No, neither business partner Conrad and Nancy, nor drug king-pin Guillermo and Nancy, are to have any romantic future. Kevin Spacey set to star, get stoned in Shrink
Kevin Spacey and independent films might sound a little bit like one of those weird, bottled fruit drinks you get at a convenience store; they're not exactly two flavors you might expect to go together. Looks like he's about to skew a little more towards the artistic side though, because it was just announced that he'll be starring in Shrink, directed by Jonas Pate.... read more
