Christoph Waltz to Star in Detective Thriller <i>True Crimes</i>

The thriller will be based on a New Yorker piece "Letters from Poland," which profiled the true story of the unsolved murder of Dariusz Janiszewski. When the trail ran cold six months in, a detective named Jacek Wroblewski (played by Waltz) re-opened the case. Tracing the victim's cellphone, Wroblewski was led to Polish writer Krystian Bala, whose sado-sexual novel Amok bore an uncanny resemblance to the details of Janiszewski's death.   read more
