David Allan Coe’s long-lost debut Penitentiary Blues will become the first release from the Shout! Factory/HackTone imprint on Aug. 23. Chicago Musicians Killed in Accident by Suicidal Driver

The three friends were stopped at a light when they were hit from behind by Jeanette Sliwinski, a distraught 23-year-old model attempting suicide after a cell-phone argument with her mother. Dahlquist, Meis, and Glick, on their lunch break from their jobs at Shure Inc., were killed instantly, rammed at an estimated speed of 70 MPH. The wreck left Sliwinski without serious injury. News Corp.—a division of Rupert Murdoch's Fox Interactive Media—has acquired L.A.-based company Intermix, owner of online networking site MySpace.com, for $580 million.
