Comedy Central Greenlights Norm MacDonald Sports Show
Comedy Central has greenlit Sports Show with Norm MacDonald, in which the former Saturday Night Live star will humorously cover real-life sports stories. Unlike The Onion’s SportsDome, which invents sports stories, MacDonald will cover actual news in front of a live, studio audience in much the same way as The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Comedy Central has ordered eight episodes, the first of which will premiere in April. Production begins this month.... read more
