Animal Collective, Atlas Sound Photos - Alpharetta, Ga.

About a week before their scheduled performance at the 2011 Pitchfork Music Festival, experimental rockers Animal Collective made their way through the South to perform at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater just outside of Atlanta, Ga. The group was joined by side projects of two fellow prominent indie-rock groups—Bradford Cox’s ambient-pop endeavor Atlas Sound and Angel Deradoorian’s self-titled project Deradoorian.
