Last night, San Francisco rockers Girls kicked off their tour in support of their latest record Father, Son, Holy Ghost—a record we gave a 9.0 review. The tour, which opened at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse, showcased Christopher Owens and Chet “JR” White’s new batch of songs—one that Owens recently described as “the way we would’ve liked to have done the first [album], but just didn’t have the means."
