In The Studio With Reptar

Atlanta/Athens rock group Reptar has been growing in strength since 2008 and emerged as a local and regional favorite in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. Their popular ascent has even caught the eye of famed producer Ben Allen, who produced Gnarls Barkley’s St. Elsewhere and Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion, who is now working with Reptar on their forthcoming full-length debut. I was invited to spend the day with Reptar at Allen’s studio in Atlanta, Ga. as they mixed a track.
