20 Awesome "Indie Rock Trade Deadline" Tweets

Today is the Major League Baseball trade deadline, meaning that as of 4 p.m., teams will no longer be able to swap players to bolster their playoff chances. Twitter seemed to think that baseball teams weren’t the only collectives that need a little deadline help. With a hashtag of #IndieRockTradeDeadline (started by no other than Death Cab for Cutie frontman and baseball enthusiast Ben Gibbard), tweeters have come out in droves to express how the day might play out if indie bands—not baseball teams—were the ones on the clock to acquire new talent.
