Need that perfect piece of art to hang above the fireplace? Look no further than Kirk Demarais’ series of awkward family portraits. These fictional TV and film families, that range from cult favorites like the Buellers and the Weirs to downright scary with The Shining’s Torrance family, are all dressed up and smiling. It’s not unlike those times your mom made you and your siblings wear matching sweaters for the “big family photo."

Demarais’ colored pencil masterpieces were originally on display at Los Angeles’ Gallery 1998, but also appeared in various other shows, including a two-man art show in 2012. If you want the Bluths’ happy faces hanging proudly among your own family portraits, visit the Gallery 1988’s site to check availability.
