With that being said, it’s no particular secret that The Walking Dead, as with most zombie horror, is full of WTF moments. The conclusion of season two was no exception with Michonne’s introduction, Rick’s freakout and the final shot of that gloomy building in the distance.

If you can’t wait for The Walking Dead‘s return this fall, these images might just be enough to hold you over. Although few in number, they reveal some big things in the zombie-thriller’s upcoming season including a look at the new character Michonne, interior shots of the prison and Maggie looking way more badass than usual.
