Josh Tillman, the man behind psych-laced folk songs of Father John Misty, traveled to Joshua Tree National Park as part of a recent vacation. Photographer Elizabeth Emma Garr documented the trip, shooting the cover for Paste’s Best of What’s Next mPlayer issue, as well as joining Tillman as they tripped “off our rockers on mushrooms.” Check out their weeklong experience in the gallery below.
