Red Bull Thre3style Pre-Qualifier Night Three Photos - Chicago, Ill.

DJ Shub from Canada was crowned the winner of the third Red Bull Thre3style pre-qualifier, leaving only one more night of competition until the World Finals in Chicago, Ill. Five international competitors—Nedu Lopes (Brazil), DJ Kostek (Poland), DJ Shub (Canada), DJ Bmau (Bolivia) and DJ Scizzorhands (New Zealand)—took the stage for their 15-minute sets, competing for the chance at the title of the World’s Best Party Rock DJ.

Throughout the week-long competition, each DJ attempts to win over the judges by using their 15 minutes to incorporate at least three different genres of music while keeping the audience engaged. After DJ Shub was announced to be moving on in the competition, headliner Z-Trip and judge Sktratch Bastid each took to the stage to end the night at Reggie’s Music Hall.
