A Day In The Life: Diamond Rugs
Supergroup Diamond Rugs finally hit the road as a touring band in support of their self-titled debut album. The band is a combination of John McCauley (Deer Tick), Robbie Crowell (Deer Tick), Ian Saint Pé (The Black Lips), Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), Hardy Morris (Dead Confederate) and Bryan Dufresne (Six Finger Satellite).These guys know how to have a good time. Though they were tired and nearing the end of their short tour, they rallied with the help of several buckets of beer and gave Atlanta, Ga. a great performance. Berlin constructed a set list that got the band in sync with one another early in the set. Check out their night both on and off the stage at The Earl in Atlanta.
