Tweets of the Week

Ever the Internet’s water cooler, Twitter was abuzz this week with discussion about the two big sports controversies we’ve all been talking about: Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o’s fake girlfriend and Lance Armstrong’s confession of having used performance enhancing drugs to win the Tour de France. Though these topics dominated the Twittersphere this week, there were also notable jokes made about Sunday’s Golden Globes, and for those not interested in either sports or movies, Pulitzer Prize-winner Joyce Carol Oates waxed poetic about the nature of Twitter.
