Dust to Digital - Finding Life in Old Recordings

Click above to see the story of Dust-to-Digital, the small Georgia label behind the lauded gospel box set Goodbye, Babylon and the recent Grammy winner The Art of Field Recording, Vol I.

This segment, produced by Jack Walsh with Gordon Ray of Public Broadcasting Atlanta, joins Dust-to-Digital as they prepare the release the second volume of field recordings and embark on a new project with local gospel master Rev. Johnny L. Jones.

If you’re in the Atlanta area, this episode of This is Atlanta with Alicia Steele airs through May and June and also features a behind-the-scenes look at Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts, and the folk-art oddities of south Georgia’s Pasaquan.
