They sound OK, but thet don't really offer anything that I haven't heard before. I grew up listening to 60's and 70's music....is the VOX supposed to be a throwback???
The sound here is not one that I would run out to buy, or run to my computer o download. I don't see them getting very far.

Wow I totally disagree. This sounds amazing. Also, isn't that some of The Raconteurs? I saw his Paste live set of his EP and was impressed...this sounds totally different. Can't wait to see and hear what he does on this record

I strongly disagree, too. Cory Chisel is one of the most gifted singer-songwriters of his generation. What you are hearing is not "throwback;" it is deep roots. Listen again carefully and you will see.

All that is gold does not glitter

yeah, born again is pretty much my summer anthem--cory chisel is absolutely amazing, and this cd is sure to be frequented on my playlists for a long long time. i can't wait to get it on itunes on tuesday for only $5.99. awesome. i wish the band was coming to columbus!!
