Watch the Avett Brothers Perform Off-Stage at the Newport Folk Festival

During festival season, the folks who make up Paste really love watching our favorite artists take the stage. But over the last year, we've also enjoyed asking musicians like Jose Gonzales, Joe Pug, Grace Potter and Chairlift to do some performing off-stage.

Last year, Paste editor-at-large Jay Sweet asked the Avett Brothers to play a song while riding the gondola at the Jackson Hole Music Festival. Our viewers enjoyed it so much, that this year, Sweet and the Ice Cream Man talked the Avetts into playing a song on top of Fort Adams at the Newport Folk Festival.
