Cadillac Sky just finished a tour with Mumford & Sons after releasing an album produced by Dan Auerbach, but the rollicking newgrass band still doesn’t scratch every creative itch for singer/guitarist David Mayfield. At the urging of friends Scott and Seth Avett, Mayfield is releasing his solo record, The Parade. The album, due next spring, features The Avett Brothers, Caitlin Rose, and David’s sister, Jessica Lea Mayfield.

Today, Paste premieres the video for the single “I Just Might Pray,” which features musical contributions from The Avett Brothers.
