Last July, Appalachian folk rockers O'Death emerged from a one-year hiatus to perform at the Newport Folk Festival. Sparked by that return to the stage, the New York-based group carried on to create their third LP Outside. The group took over two months to make the record--an eternity for a quintet who more often has found themselves on the road than in the studio during the course of their existence. The time spent recording, however, paid off as O'Death have created a lush and lurking world on Outside.
Outside, which will be released on April 19 via Ernest Jenning Record Co., can be streamed for the entire next week on Paste's website. Click the album artwork to hear the group's latest effort.
