Somewhere during the chaos of filming and recording 20 bands over two days at Newport Folk Festivals, The Cave Singers went under the radar during the event, quietly putting on one of the festival’s better performances. While festival goers were transfixed on Middle Brother and Elvis Costello during Sunday afternoon, The Cave Singers filled Fort Adams with the sounds of “Haller Lake” and “Swim Club.” Check out the Seattle folk trio performing both of those songs in the player here.
