Video Premiere: Mason Jennings - "Witches Dream"

Mason Jennings’ latest album is different one than his past efforts, with “Witches Dream” being a prime example. The director of the video Brian Gallino (who has worked with Weezer, Nat & Alex Wolff, and Melody Thornton) says, “It’s a totally different vibe then what I expect but still the touch of his songwriting.” Jennings draws his interpretation of the song in the video and Gallino attempted to match his drawing with video. Gallino explains, “It was also important to me to capture the song’s subtle madness. I felt that came across best using the footage of Mason wandering through the mirror maze. The trippy vintage colorful shots were taken from a 1960’s documentary on mind control.”
