Given the religious context to Ivan & Alyosha’s name and their latest EP which concerns divinity and disbelief, it seems appropriate that the quartet would cover Jackson Browne’s “Rebel Jesus.” Their name comes from the main characters in Dostoevsky’s Brothers Karamazov and the discussions of religion and faith between them. Ivan & Alyosha do “Rebel Jesus” justice even keeping the jingle bells in place. You can listen to the cover below.
