Video Premiere: Cate Le Bon - "Fold The Cloth"
Cate Le Bon is an upcoming singer-songwriter from Wales that has all the ingredients for what it takes to be the next big thing in female art-pop: a strong persona, a unique voice, and a confident songwriting craft. The fact that she was the recent supporting act for St. Vincent’s 2011 tour might be the most telling thing about her sound.
In “Fold The Cloth”, a track off her upcoming sophomore album CYRK, Cate Le Bon wraps her intricate melodies in distorted guitars and organs, giving the impression that Cate Le Bon isn’t letting up on her dirty textures and dark themes this time around.
