Adam Arcuragi’s hypnotic melodies and chamber choir are infectious on the bands third full-length album Like A Fire That Consumes All Before It. His poetic lyricism is reflective of both The Illiad and Cy Twombly’s iconic painting—the two influences that brought the album’s title to fruition.
In paying homage to these influences, Arcuragi powerfully draws from the tone of those prolific works, drawing from them to create his own authentic work of art. His latest album Like A Fire That Consumes All Before It is richly rooted in early 20th century folk songs and hymns.
For his video for “Presidents’ Song,” Arcuragi and The Lupine Chorale Society invite viewers into their intimate space—one full of tambourine shaking, foot tapping and finger plucking. Watch the video premiere of “Presidents’ Song” below.
