Video Premiere: Air - "Clair de Terre"

Air’s highly anticipated Le Voyage Dans la Lune, an album set to work alongside the 1902 silent film of the same name by George Méliès, is set for a Feb. 6 release. In celebration of the album’s release, we’re also giving away a signed art print and book from the band, which you can check out here.

“I think George Méliès would have liked to get something from now, music from now, something really adventurous and crazy, like some psychedelic songs from something digital or machines,” Air’s Jean-Benoît Dunckel told the BBC.

We have a few videos from the film now. The first, “Clair de Terre” is a short, colorful clip that shows people preparing for the a journey to the moon. Coming from Air’s corner, the music is atmospheric and piano driven compared to “Sonic Armada,” a jazzy, jamming track. You can check out both clips below.
