Live From CMJ: Yellow Ostrich

Alex Schaaf, the mastermind behind Yellow Ostrich, is back in his adopted hometown of New York City awaiting the release of Strange Land, the follow-up to The Mistress which featured one of the catchiest tracks of the year in “WHALE.”

We invited Yellow Ostrich to headline our CMJ festivities last October, finishing off a week of music with an evening at the Brooklyn Bowl. Watch their entire set here, where Schaaf and his band performed songs from both The Mistress and their upcoming album Strange Land.
