Song Premiere: Choir of Young Believers - "Nye Nummer Et"

Choir of Young Believers are set to release Rhine Gold, their follow up to 2009’s This is for the White in Your Eyes, on March 20 with Ghostly International. The band, which hails from Denmark, is led by Jannis Noya Makrigiannis. Rhine Gold’s sound is defined by its layered, orchestral instrumentation that backs Makrigiannis’ precise, clean melodies.

The band is offering a preview of the Rhine Gold track titled “Nye Nummer Et.” It’s a stacked track that, aside from the obligatory guitars, drums and bass, features trickling digital noise and strings. “Nye Nummer Et” easily recalls some of Ra Ra Riot’s slower, more melodic moments.
