Song Premiere: Hoots and Hellmouth - "Why Would You Not Want To Go There?"

Philadelphia-based quartet Hoots and Hellmouth has been making profound folk rock that’s been pleasing listeners since 2007’s release of their self-titled album. It’s been five years and the band has fine-tuned their sound and is releasing a new album entitled Salt on April 10.

“Why Would You Not Want To Go There?” offers a poignant introduction to those who haven’t heard the band and also exemplifies the talent the four have been honing over the past handful of years. Hoots and Hellmouth implements guitars, mandolins and stomp boxes to produce a sound similar to Mumford and Sons, but they provide a solid American vibe that edges them towards a more melodic-sounding Avett Brothers.
