Video Premiere: Simone Felice - “You & I Belong”

Although it’s got a pleasant, piano-driven song to back it up, Simone Felice’s video for “You & I Belong” is still pretty unsettling. The video features a giggling, double-chinned puppeteer being chased by some sort of wooly, white creature, which seems to be a buddy of the leaf-covered Felice. The video, which utilizes stop-motion photography for some cool outdoorsy scenes, was directed by Tobias Stretch.

The track from the former member of The Felice Brothers comes from the forthcoming Simone Felice, which will be released on April 2 through Team Love. The album’s first single, “New York Times” already made its debut here, and now you can hear “You & I Belong” below.
