Live From Paste: Lydia Loveless

April 5, 2012  |  10:00am

Lydia Loveless’s powerful voice—like a pissed-off Neko Case or a sauced-up Loretta Lynn—that takes center stage. A sweet, delicate voice just wouldn’t sound right with these honest tales of long nights and painful mornings.

The Columbus, Ohio songstress, touring behind her Bloodshot Records debut Indestructible Machine, brought her country-meets-honky-tonk music to our offices, performing three songs of her 2011 album as well as a reworked cover of Ke$ha’s “Blind.” Watch her Live From Paste session in this week’s mPlayer issue.
