Live From SXSW: Punch Brothers - "Movement and Location"

April 18, 2012  |  2:00pm

Although Punch Brothers are named after a short story that’s over a century old, their music is as forward-thinking as it gets. Combining bluegrass instrumentation with brilliant progressions and changes, the band pushes the boundaries of what’s expected from mandolin, fiddle and banjo-outfitted groups. The group recently released their much-anticipated third album, Who’s Feeling Young Now, on Feb. 14, another solid addition to their catalog.

Watch the Punch Brothers perform “Movement and Location” at the Sennheiser & Paste Present the Stages on Sixth here.
