Song Premiere: Delta Rae - "Morning Comes"
Delta Rae, a folk-pop band from North Carolina, has premiered “Morning Comes,” a new song off of their debut album Carry The Fire, due out on June 19.
The six-member band appeared at SXSW and will continue to tour until early November. Delta Rae recently released the song “Chain of Love” in protest for marriage equality—a poignant topic for the band’s home state.
“Morning Comes” is a melodic song, complete with hand claps and multiple-part harmonies. With lyrics about finding a woman and a job, Delta Rae channels their country influence throughout the song. Check out the track premiere below.
