Song Premiere: Kalen Nash - White Oak”

Most recognized for his work in the southern rock quintet Ponderosa, songwriter Kalen Nash has announced the release for his solo debut, Ukred, this summer. The first single from songwriter’s forthcoming record, “White Oak,” evokes the same wintery abandon that Justin Vernon so famously channeled on Bon Iver’s For Emma, Forever Ago. Nash, however, infuses a more driving musical approach into songs on Ukred, focusing on quick percussion and distinctive song structure.
