Video Premiere: Hoots & Hellmouth - "Why Would You Not Want To Go There?"
Hoots & Hellmouth have seasoned the folk-rock genre with a Philadelphia flare, one that is pleasing to taste with their latest record, Salt. With the recent departure founding member Andrew Gray and arrival of Mike Reilly, it would appear that the instability and uncertainty would continue.
But Salt streams as natural and nonchalant as its track titles. With names that read like a conversation—“Why Would You Not Want To Go There?” and “I Don’t Mind Your Cussing”—the debonair quality of relationships are highlighted, and the album begins to feel like a meeting with an old friend in a very spirited, highly-anticipated reunion.
