Live From SXSW: Rhett Miller - "Singular Girl"

Published at 12:00 PM on June 6, 2012

As frontman for The Old 97’s, Rhett Miller helped define the alt-country movement throughout the late ‘90s and into the new millennium. He also now has five solo albums under his belt, including a collection of cover songs called The Interpreter: Live at Largo. With help from the likes of producer Jon Brion and Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago, he tackled songs by icon writers from Paul Simon and The Beatles to Elliott Smith. He’ll bring a full band to our party in Austin, along with a huge catalog of his own emotional tunes.

Watch Rhett Miller perform “Singular Girl” at the Sennheiser & Paste Present the Stages on Sixth.
