Live From SXSW: River City Extension - "South for the Winter"

With eight people in the band, it’s no surprise to hear that River City Extention’s upcoming album, Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Your Anger—recorded over 25 days in Chicago and due out June 5—is a much more orchestral affair. We saw the band at last year’s SXSW, where they left the stage of a tiny club, playing their instruments in and among the packed crowd, many of whom then followed the band like pied pipers into a back alleyway, where the party continued.
