After reuniting and touring almost ten years ago, early-’80s frenetic ska band The English Beat will be reissuing their entire catalog along with a new box set titled The Complete Beat, out via Shout! Factory on July 10.

The compilation revisits the work of a band largely forgotten in the history of new wave that played together for a brief stint in the late-70s and early-80s before breaking up for other outfits and solo projects. The box set features each of the English Beat’s three albums, along with previously unreleased bonus tracks such as sessions recorded with John Peel and live songs recorded at Boston’s Opera House.

You can stream “Best Friend” off the upcoming reissue below, originally on their 1980 album, I Just Can’t Stop It. Band co-founder and lead singer Dave Wakeling said to Paste about the track, “It’s the man in the mirror in the bathroom talking to himself… It is autobiographical about how full of ourselves we can get and how that can make it difficult to connect with others, especially the pretty woman in verse two!”
