Video Premiere: Baroness Discuss Yellow & Green

Baroness, a progressive metal band from Savannah, Ga., released a new video with more details about its upcoming album, Yellow & Green. Although the band continues with the color motif in a very Weezerian fashion, the members proclaim the album is a departure from their previous work. Drummer Allen Blickle describes the album as “hitting a different area of the musical spectrum.”

The almost six-minute video includes some behind-the-scenes in-studio footage of the band and also performing a new song live. The band goes into further details about the genesis of the album and about their “song first, performance second” attitude.

Yellow & Green is set to be released on July 17. You can watch the video below.
